I'm in the process of doing a small experiment, whereby I cut out tomatoes and capsicum from my diet. These are generally acidic vegetables that contain a mineral or something that can be detremental to rhuematoid arthritis.
For the last week I had noticed the pain had returned in my wrist and then last night and today I am back wearing the wrist brace. Over the last week I had increased my tomato intake quite substantually, as I have been enjoying some delicious tomato recipes.
The pain started out as a niggle and eventually got to the stage where it was quite painful, so the brace is now on again for support.
I have downloaded a list of foods that have this particular mineral that can be harmful and will gradually over a period of time, eliminate certain foods from my diet, then reintroduce them, to try to determine if any of them have an affect of my arthritis.
Today is Day 3 of eliminating tomato & capsicum and to date it has had no effect.
