Day 46 - Thursday 15th January 2009

Buying heaps of fruit & veg of late that there wasn't enough space in the fridge, so have now acquired a second fridge (thanks to the in-laws).

Am finding already that most of my bigger clothes (Size 12) are way too big for me now and am back wearing the size 10's again (yippee!). If I can get into size 8's over the next month, I will be even more pleased. Can't even remember when the last time was that I fitted into a size 8, but this is my firm goal for the next four weeks.

Have stopped wearing my wrist brace, once again. I've now been three days without it. Let's see how long it lasts this time. The last lot of arthritis drugs also taken three days ago.

The vegie garden is coming along nicely, new shoots are popping up already. Have been watering it every day since Sunday and hubby said he was going to set up a sprinker system to save me watering it by hand, which does make more sense. Looking forward to our first crop of vegies, which will probably be in around six weeks at a guess. Will get into potting all the seeds on the weekend, so the sooner that's done, the sooner we'll have more seedlings to go into the vegie patch.

My excitement at finding an organic market on the weekend, didn't last long. Hubby went yesterday with a list I had written, only to discover the unbelieveable prices.
Eg: Lemons $14/kilo, Oranges $12/kilo, Tomatoes $6/kilo, Banana's $8/kilo - just to name a few. I certainly can't afford to pay these prices considering the amount of fruit and vegies I've been eating, so it looks like we're back to the supermarket and the weekend markets to try to get the best we can. Now I know why we started our own vegie garden.

Well yesterday should have been weigh in day, however with it suddenly being "that time of month", I've now put that on hold until next Wednesday. Another week to lose the extra fat, I say! Come on Wednesday!
