Discovered the most delicious fruit over the weekend, which I found at our local markets.
There was a fellow selling organic dragonfruit, which has a soft, smooth, bright pink skin and is white in the centre with tiny black edible seeds throughout.
They are truly delicious, with a soft, smooth, melt in your mouth texture, and a very refreshing taste. Apparently they also come with a bright pink/red centre also, but don't know whether the taste differs between the two, though.
Anyway, just had to share my new taste experience with all.
Try it, if ever you get the chance.....truly mouthwatering!
Spent most of yesterday in the garden. The vegie garden now exists! Planted corn, sweet potato, carrots, mixed lettuce, radish, beans, passionfruit, pineapple & rockmelon. Have now got to prepare seeds for tomatoes, onions, snowpeas, cucumber, zucchini, pumpkin and capsicum. Once they have seeded for a few weeks then they will be ready for planting. I think the small patch we set aside for planting is suddenly going to be a lot larger than first intended. Doesn't matter though.........fresh organic fruit and veg will be the outcome. Can't beat them!!
